- Thin nacre cracks at small sizes. Agoya is a thinner shell; small blanks need gentle tooling or they chip when the needle passes.
- Stock styles sell through. In-stock AG styles move fast - confirm quantities early so your size run does not mix batches.
- Tone swing between lots. Silvery tones drift between harvests; an approved range sample keeps lots consistent.
Each of these is a claim on your P&L, not a technical detail. We test the condition your care label specifies and put the result in writing before production starts.
