Home / Buyer FAQ

The questions buyers actually ask before the first PO.

Straight answers, including the ones where the answer is "it depends" — because a supplier who answers everything with "yes" is a supplier you will argue with later.

What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the button family, size and whether tooling is involved. We confirm it in writing at quotation — for standard shirting programmes it typically starts at 1,000 pcs per size and colour. Sampling runs are possible and priced separately.
How fast can you send samples?
Standard samples from stock references usually ship within 3–5 working days. Custom colour or logo samples take longer because a physical reference has to be made first — we give you the date in writing before you commit.
Can you match a colour to my fabric instead of a Pantone number?
Yes, and we prefer it. Send a 10×10 cm fabric swatch. We match under D65 light, produce a physical lab dip, and keep your approved dip on file so repeat orders do not drift.
Do you provide test reports?
Yes. We run eleven in-house testing machines and report results for the lot you are buying — salt spray hours, wash and rub fastness, pull strength, nickel release, small-parts safety, as applicable. If a test is outside our scope we say so and arrange third-party testing.
Can you issue GRS transaction certificates?
Yes, for GRS programmes. The scope certificate alone does not satisfy most brand audits; the transaction certificate is issued against your PO quantity and shipped with the documents.
What are your payment terms?
Terms are agreed at order stage. For new customers we typically start with a deposit and balance against documents; the exact structure is confirmed on the proforma invoice.
How do you handle a quality claim?
Every bag carries a lot number and we retain a physical sample of each lot. A claim is traced to the lot and the test sheet for that run, so the conversation is about facts rather than opinions.
Can you supply the whole trims list, not just buttons?
Yes — zippers, drawcords, webbing, labels and metal parts ship with the buttons against one approved colour reference, one delivery date and one point of accountability. If we cannot make a line well, we tell you at quotation.
Do you work with small brands and start-ups?
Yes. Sampling and capsule runs are priced separately from bulk, and we will tell you honestly when a quantity is below the point where our process makes sense for you.
Which markets do you ship to?
EU, UK, US, Japan and Southeast Asia are routine. Compliance documents are prepared per destination — tell us the market at inquiry so the right documents are quoted from the start.
Can you develop a new button from a photo or drawing?
Yes. Send a photo, drawing or a physical sample. We produce a development sample and confirm tooling cost and lead time before you commit.
What happens if my delivery date is tight?
Tell us the date at inquiry, not after the PO. We will confirm whether the schedule is achievable and, where it is not, propose the closest realistic date rather than accept an order we cannot deliver.

Question not answered here?

Write it exactly as you would ask a colleague. We will answer it in writing, not with a brochure.
