What goes wrong
Three failures we test for before bulk
- Coating fails in washing. The iridescent layer dulls after five home washes and the brand sees it on the shelf.
- Shade shifts between lots. The effect is sensitive to process; two lots look like two products.
- Photos oversell the effect. The sample photo shows more colour shift than the bulk delivers — a trust problem.
Each of these is a claim on your P&L, not a technical detail. We test the condition your care label specifies and put the result in writing before production starts.

Rainbow — FAQ
Is the rainbow effect plating or film?
Both options exist. Film gives a softer shift and better wash durability; plating gives a sharper mirror effect with tighter process control. We recommend based on your care label.
How many washes will the effect survive?
We test to your care instruction — typically 5, 10 or 30 home washes. The result is reported in writing, not assumed.
Can laser-cut edges be combined with print?
Yes. Laser cutting, UV print and film can be combined on one button; we produce a physical sample so you approve the combination before bulk.
What is the minimum for a custom effect?
Custom effect development needs a trial run; the MOQ is confirmed in writing at quotation after the effect is approved.
