What goes wrong
Three failures we test for before bulk
- Certificate does not match the goods. The brand's auditor asks for a transaction certificate and the supplier cannot produce one — the order is pulled.
- Recycled content weakens the part. Cheap recycled resin cracks; the sustainability claim becomes a quality claim.
- Broken chain of custody. Nobody can trace which recycled batch went into which shipment.
Each of these is a claim on your P&L, not a technical detail. We test the condition your care label specifies and put the result in writing before production starts.

GRS buttons — FAQ
Do you issue a transaction certificate for each shipment?
Yes. The TC is issued against your PO quantity and shipped with the documents — this is what auditors ask for, and it is the reason brands move sustainable trims to a supplier who can document them.
Does recycled content reduce button strength?
Not when the grade is right. We test pull and impact strength on the approved material and report the figures before bulk.
Can GRS buttons carry our logo?
Yes, laser or printed. The GRS logo itself may only be used with your certification body's approval — we will not print it without written authorisation.
Which other trims can be GRS?
Recycled polyester webbing, drawcord and labels are available in the same programme, so the whole package can carry consistent documentation.
